KJM announce partnership with George Barnsdale

KJM have become an approved partner with George Barnsdale after seeking another supplier for their timber windows, doors and conservatory range.

Mark Pearce KJM’s Managing Director said “We have been looking for another supplier for our timber range for a while. George Barnsdale offered a historic, traditional and a contemporary range manufactured from engineered softwood, Accoya, Grandis hardwood and European Oak. They also offered us some of the best warranties in the industry including a 30 years guarantee against preservative failure and most other parts covered for 10 years. We completed our search for another supplier after a visit to them to look at the manufacturing process and other elements of their supply chain. We were impressed by every aspect of the operation”

Frames and window sashes are manufactured from Engineered Redwood, free of knots and imperfections. External mouldings and sash window linings are created in Accoya®, which has earned the highest durability rating of any timber, surviving for 25 years when submerged, uncoated, in fresh water. Specifically for doors we use Grandis Hardwood within the complete product due to its clear faced attractive grain pattern, which exudes the natural beauty of timber.
