VISIT OUR GALLERYInsulated, Lightweight Conservatory Roofs
The Warmer Roof is the finest timber conservatory roof on the market. The wooden frame is made with C24 roof-grade timbers and is supported by a high-performance Glulam eaves beam, which is both incredibly strong and durable. Despite this, it’s also comparatively lightweight and won’t put undue pressure on the main structure of your extension.
The new roof is attached to your conservatory window frames and includes an external fascia board. The 15mm outer skin consists of either plywood or OSB, giving it extra strength and protection, while the multifoil 125mm honeycomb insulation ensures your conservatory temperature remains comfortable. The 82.5mm plasterboard improves things even further, so regardless of the temperature outside, your conservatory will be a protected from the elements and remain comfortable.
LEARN MORECustomisation Options
Warmer Roofs are not just the ultimate timber conservatory roof system, they’ve got multiple customisation options too. They can be fitted to conservatories of any size or shape, and make delightful enhancements to P-Shaped, Victorian and Edwardian conservatories alike.
Warmer Roofs come with a selection of external and internal finishes. For example, you can increase household light levels by including integrated fixed-glass panels. With their slimline aluminium frames, they’ll ensure your conservatory remains a bright and airy living space and they’re also a stylishly attractive feature.
You’ve also got a choice of tiles to give your new roof a distinct look. Slate tiles have a sense of classical elegance and their textured surface has a lot of character. Alternatively, our shingle galvanised steel sheet tiles are practical and sustainable with a modern twist. We always include a breathable mesh underneath the tiles, allowing air to flow naturally and reduce the risk of condensation.
Additionally, we can include a few eye-catching touches for the perfect finishing flourish. Internal pelmets and external soffits are especially popular and can give your conservatory a special sense of style. Installing downlights in them can do wonders for the atmosphere; imagine relaxing with a book or hosting an evening party under the warm lights of a conservatory.

Frequently Asked Questions
When Should I Replace My Conservatory Roof?
If your existing conservatory is showing signs of wear and tear, it may be time for an upgrade. Look out for damage to the frame, draughts around the windows and doors and any water ingress. Problems with increased external noise and energy consumption may also suggest that your conservatory roof is reaching the end of its lifespan.
I Have An Older Conservatory, Will It Support The Weight Of A Warmer Roof?
Almost certainly. Because traditional conservatories typically have glass roofs, people often assume they can’t handle solid roofs but they’re far stronger than you might realise. Unless the structure has been damaged, it will likely support a Warmer Roof.
What Is The Lowest Pitch A Warmer Roof Can Achieve?
Height restrictions on conservatories can be problematic, but Warmer Roofs can achieve pitches as low as 5 degrees. This is reached thanks to the Britmet Pantile 2000 roof tile solution, which allows us to install lower-pitched conservatory roofs.
Will Replacing My Conservatory Roof Increase The Property Value?
Yes, we can’t put a specific figure on it but Warmer Roofs will positively affect your property value. Estate agents place great stock on contemporary installations that improve kerb appeal and Warmer Roofs are a perfect enhancement.
Are Warmer Roofs Eco-Friendly?
Yes. Aside from helping to reduce your reliance on central heating systems and lowering your carbon footprint, all Warmer Roofs are made with timber sourced from sustainable forest regeneration programmes.
Do I Need Planning Permission To Replace A Conservatory Roof?
In almost all cases, you will need planning permission to install a Warmer Roof. It may also be necessary if it’s higher than the roof of the main house or if you live in a heritage property, but we rarely encounter scenarios where planning permission is refused.
